Syremont is shareholder of RGI Steryl Tech s.r.l. , a company based in Genova owner of patented equipment ans systems for the pest control of organic materials. The laboratory is mainly a specialized workshop where high skilled professionals develop incremental technology with the objective of maximising the equipment’s performances.
The IPM approach to pest management relies on a combination of common-sense practices. The programs use current, comprehensive information on the life cycles of pests and their interaction with the environment. This information, in combination with available pest control methods, is used to manage pest damage by the most economical means, and with the least possible hazard to people, property, and the environment.

System Veloxy ® – CONSERVER ®
The system VELOXY ® (very low oxygen) is based on small size equipment portable and easy to use. It creates conditions for the absence of oxygen in order to eliminate pests from organic material without the use of toxic-harmful substances.
CONSERVER ® is certainly the most used and sold in the Italian archives and libraries for the vacuum preservation of paper materials.
With CONSERVER ®, it is possible to vacuum pack entire collections within envelopes transparent plastic film gas barrier; in this way the material is protected from agents of degradation. This equipment is continuosly upgraded in order to maximise its performances.
